Graduate

The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) advanced degrees are grounded in feminist theory and help students develop the empirical knowledge required to analyze structures of power and inequity. With programmatic strengths in intersectionality, transnational and global feminisms, public policy and media and visual culture, WGSS immerses students in many applications of the degree.

Students may focus on a single sub-discipline or tailor an interdisciplinary program to suit a wide array of interests, positioning them for careers in policy and advocacy-oriented nonprofits, NGOs and government agencies, or further academic study in law, the humanities or the social sciences.
