Dr. Barlow was quoted by Medical News Today in the article "Structural racism in medicine: An in-depth look at ways to promote meaningful change," and by The Washington Post in the article "Racial trauma can be deadly for Black people. Here are five ways to cope with it." Both of these articles discuss the deadly implications of racism and how change can be brought about. In addition, Dr. Barlow wrote an article for Psych Central called "Post-COVID Self-Care Tips for Black Women," where she discusses how Black women are held to different standards at work and home that can negatively impact their mental health.
